We decorated some white fabric using acrylic paint and kitchen utensils to make our pirate bandanas - left some cool prints!
We snacked on "sea biscuits" while discussing how pirate ships may have run low on flour or may have gotten bugs in it on long voyages, so we ate "sea biscuits with bugs" (chocolate chip cookies!) The thought of buggy food didn't slow anyone down any when eating their cookies!
We dressed up in pirate garb - eye patches (home-made, which tend to stretch, as I've totally lost the really cool looking patches I bought specifically for dress up fun this week... Oh well!), our bandanas and lots of pirate loot! Lots of fun!
Tomorrow - our big treasure hunt!
