Stampin' Up Regional Conference in Kansas City

I had THE BEST time on Saturday! Stampin' Up travels around the country, putting on these mini conference type deals. I got to go a couple years ago and it was pretty fun then, but now.... I got to go with a group of my downline/friends and was prepared with swaps to trade gals for!

We got to the Overland Park Convention Center in plenty of time to begin swapping. Swapping is basically just a flurry of walking around saying "Are you swapping?", "Have I swapped with you yet?", "Would you like to swap?". All while juggling your own swaps and the swaps you're getting. I walked in with 80 cards I had made and walked out with 80 brand new cards! Very exciting! Eighty new cards for my sample basket - 80 new cards to CASE (Copy and Stamp Everything) - Eighty new cards to share with my friends and customers!

And if that weren't enough, we got to create 6 Make & Takes there as well - a couple cute cards, an adorable basket using the Big Shot and more! We got a new stamp set to bring home and the I WON ANOTHER ONE as well! I can't wait to share them all with you!

And then if THAT weren't enough, several local demonstrators shared some of their "Workshop Wows" with us and I got some great ideas from that. AND there were many presentations by Stampin' Up! personnel - some technique ideas, some business ideas.... And oh my! The wheels are spinnin' now!

And then if THAT weren't enough.... there were display boards set up all over the place and I took a TON of pictures! Now I've got more things to CASE and be inspired by!

And then.... The Icing on the Cake! I got to meet ...... (drumroll, please!) ......... Shelli Gardner, herself! The Founder & President of Stampin' Up! The gal who "talks" to me through the pages of every Stampin' Success Magazine I get, the gal I see in her family picture in the front of each Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog! The guru of all things stamping. The force behind this company that keeps me sane! Shelli Gardner! And she was so sweet! She signed my name tag. My little group of Stampin' Family got a picture with her! I see a framed scrapbook page in my not-so-distant future! And - she likes my hair! And my shoes from that day! I was just giddy the rest of the day!

I've got a ton to catch up on . Hopefully I'll be sharing some pictures of some of the swaps I got with you soon. Hopefully I'll be sharing some new classes and class sign ups with you soon!
