Red Circles

As we continue on in our friend week, we've also incorporated the circle shape. Today we took turns using a variety of circle-shaped items to stamp in red paint and make a collage. Everyone loved trying all the different stuff - round sponge brushes, glue stick bottoms, mason jar tops, medicine cups, round wooden blocks, cookie cutters - we ended up with some great circle collages!









We also worked on being good friends today as we colored pictures together. I gave each kiddo only a couple crayons. If one of the friends needed another color, he needed to ask a friendly nicely if he could have a turn with it - using please and thank you, of course! This activity was a success; I love hearing all the good manners and all the fun these friends can have!





(They don't look like they're having much fun in these pictures, but really they were - we did this activity after a lot of dancing and I think everyone is Wiped Out! Ha!)
