Butterfly Life Cycle

Today, as we recouped from some busy 4th of July weekends, we started talking about butterflies. We kicked off our butterfly week with reading one of my favorite books of all time - The Very Hungry Caterpillar - the kids can "read" this one right along with me!



We talked about the life cycle of a butterfly and did an awesome project along with it.



We illustrated the life cycle with different shapes of noodles - eggs...

Then we used those shapes of noodles in our cheesy chicken & noodles for lunch! Yummo!
