Thankful

Our daycare theme has shifted into Thanksgiving as we are now less than a week away! It's hard to believe how quickly this year is flying by! Anyway, as quick as it's going, there are still many things to be thankful for and being thankful for the things in our lives that make us happy is what the kids and I have been talking about. They've got all sorts of things they are thankful for!

O is thankful for pumpkins, leaves and pictures
K is thankful for coloring pictures and turkey
J is thankful for calendar time and her mom
M is thankful for candy and toys
B is thankful for candy and his big tractor
N is thankful for candy and his daddy

It's been talking to them about Thanksgiving and seeing them really think about the things they are thankful for - we'll continue on our thankful lists next week!

We've also been doing some great turkey, Thanksgiving and harvest crafts!

We made turkeys using the outline of feet:

We made pieces of pumpkin pie that smell great with sprinkles of cinnamon:



And we made harvest corn using our fingerprints!
