We talked about igloos and made these adorable marshmallow igloos!
To see the process of turning liquid to ice, we filled a quart bag about half-full of juice. We placed the juice bag inside a gallon bag, added ice cubes and ice cream salt. Everyone then took a turn shaking the bags.
After everyone got a chance to shake it, 5 or 10 minutes later, the juice had turned to slush! Very cool! (Get it, cool - cold - ice?!)
