Halloween Party for the Daycare Kiddos

We had our little Halloween party with the daycare kids on Thursday as I was closed on Friday. We had a great time and even though I felt a little strung out, the fun they had brought me out of my funk and I was able to just enjoy our time with them!

We ate a yummy jack-o-lantern flavored cake and drank Yoo-Hoo! Baby B really enjoyed the cake!

We went outside to play games. We started with a hunt with a pumpkin hunt. Everyone combed the yard to find the mini pumpkin with their name on it. When they found it, they also found a little treat!

We played "Toss the bone into the caudron" - basically throwing Qtips into a Halloween bucket! Everyone loved this one and came back when we were done with everything to play it again!

Everyone broke off into teams of two to turn their buddies into "mummies" using rolls of toilet paper! It was a challenge for their little hands, but we all had fun watching each other! And they all turned out great.

And then, my favorite - I made a Halloween "Twister" mat and they got all tied up! Super fun to watch!

When it was time to go home, everyone left with a goodie bag full of yummies!
